Cold War and Post-9/11 Education Reforms

My RBA will investigate in what ways and why the education reforms during the Cold War and Post-9/11 differ. Up to this point, it seems to be that the reason for the difference is that the “enemy” in both eras has different characteristics associated with it: Communism connotes collectivism and anti-democracy while terrorism connotes unpredictability and anti-Americanism. The difference between anti-democracy and anti-America leads to differences in how the government tries to reform the education system. New Mind Map
